Video Introduction : Psalms 23 The Message
Place of shooting : Yangsu-ri River
1-3 God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.
4 Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure.
5 You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head;
my cup brims with blessing. 6Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I’m back home in the house of God for the rest of my life

(a) Life is beautiful. Sometimes we just need to take a minute and just close our eyes, feel the air in our hair, feel the grass under our feet. Sometimes we need to open our eyes and look at the flowers, look at the skies. Life is really beautiful. We are surrounded by friends, family and loved ones, that makes life so beautiful. We get applauded and sometimes rewarded, we were on top of our dreams. We reach our goal; our dreams have come true. Life can be so beautiful.

(b) But we all know; Life is not always so beautiful. Tragedies come, financial crisis, sickness, earthquakes, famines, typhoons, bombings, violence, killings, hatred, unexpected calamities. Many get depressed, even suicidal, especially this year 2020, its been a really hard year. This year, the coronavirus covid 19 spread all over the world. It brought so much fear and panic, deaths so many thousands all over the world. Schools are shut down, airports, churches tourist destinations…all EMPTY. Everyone stays at house locked up in fear. Nobody wants to go out. And as we;re locked up in fear, many get so emotional, many lose our hope…..

(c) We must not lose hope. We will get through this. Our country, we will get through this. All Asia, we will get through this, the whole world we will get through this pandemic. WE MUST NOT LOSE HOPE. There are brighter days, and they are coming. This pandemic will not last forever. We will survive, we will survive. We’ll do everything possible to survive, because God made us with the fighting spirit within us for survival. We will survive….mankind will survive. Do not give up hope, we will fight to survive. We need to fight.

(d) To fight, We need to do more exercise, we need to get our bodies healthier. Even if its just walking up and down the street, in the middle of the night or when the sun goes down, even just are walking up and down in our backyard early in the morning, we must do exercise. Exercise releases endorphins. These are hormones in our brain which cause happiness. Endorphins make us happy, endorphins help take away stress. When we do exercise, we release stress, we will, we must do exercise. We must drink more water. Our body is made up of 75% water, our whole planet is made up of mostly all water. God knows water is important for us, that’s why He made us full of water, we must drink more water. We must keep hydrated. We will keep healthier. We must keep drink water, we must keep eating better and healthier. Especially in this time of the pandemic, we need to really, really work harder to keep healthier, and that includes better eating, healthier eating; we must make better choices. We must take a deep breathes. Breath in the oxygen, the clean oxygen to oxygenate our cells. We need oxygen for healthier function. And we, we breathe out, we breathed out carbon dioxide; poison goes out. We must take a deep breath, at least ten times every day. Take deep breathes, just close your eyes. Think of our children, our siblings, our loved ones, our parents. Think about the many blessings we have. Don’t just focus on the bad, focus on the good. There is so much good in our lives. God has blessed us so much. We tend to focus only on the negative. STAY AWAY FROM THE NEWS. STAY AWAY FROM SOCIAL MEDIA. So much negativity, we will not lose hope. we will not lose hope, but if we spend so much time on social media, if we spend too much in the news, we will start losing hope. Stay away from, you know what, ten minutes a day maximum. Log in your social media no more than 10 minutes a day, post an encouraging word, say hi to your friends very quickly, and log out social media. Then We can stay connected to our loved ones, our family. visit your loved ones, visit your family, especially our elderly family. we need the human connection. Don’t stay with your four walls of your home, it will only drive you crazy. Do not lose that human connections. We are humans, we are meant to have community, fellowship, companionship. Do not stay with the four walls with the same 4-5 people within your home. It will make you go crazy little by little.

WE WILL SURVIVE. WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS. Because God will see us through. At the end of the day, Jesus is our only hope. At the end of the day, God’s word will get us through this. Spend time with God, spend time in His Word.

Many people ask, well, if God really exists, then why does He allow so much suffering? Why does He allow so much pain? Could it be that it is the devil fault and not Gods? and we blame God? Could it be that a lot of this is our fault? If we don’t take care of our bodies, we got sick and we blame God? We don’t take care of our environment, more sickness and disease come out and we blame God? Could it be that we are paying and consequences for our actions?

Why does God allow suffering and pain? What is pain? that is a feeling that takes you out of your comfort zone; that feeling of helplessness, for things that are out of your control. That hurt us to our very core.

But there is a solution. His name is Jesus. Could it be that God allows these things because He wants us to return to Him? Could it be God is trying to get our attention? Could it be that some of us lost our first love and God is calling us back to Him? Could it be that these are the last days and these are the signs of times? As the bible says in Matthew 24, it’s the beginning of labor in the last days, the beginning of the labor pains.

But there’s hope in Jesus. Get closer to Jesus. Spend time with Him. Focus on Him, do not focus on the world. He is our hope.

“Go forth today, by the help of God’s Spirit, vowing and declaring that in life—-come poverty, come wealth, in death—come pain or come what may, you are and ever must be the Lord’s. For this is written on your heart, ‘We love Him because He first loved us.’” ~Charles H. Spurgeon
